Welp the world didn’t end and 2013 arrived in the usual fashion–fireworks, lots of champagne, and balloon drops. We even got to deal with a dude (sorry, not just any dude, a completely hammered dude) that walked from A-Basin to Summit Cove (about a 7 mile walk up and through some big mountains) before being picked up on HWY 6 by a good samaritan who then dropped him at the Keystone Lodge and Spa. Mind you, it was -6 outside.
2012 was a year of ups and downs and ins and outs. I can’t say I am sad to see it go, but I can say that I’ve come a long way since the beginning of 2012. Once I worked my way through the snags of the start of the year and realized that MY happiness is paramount, I was a much happier camper. I traveled a ton, spent the summer on boats, jet skis, and water skis, at lake houses, concerts, and the weddings of some of my closest friends, dated someone who treated me like a princess, and then finished off the year living out my dream of becoming a cowgirl, err CO resident.
BIG shout out to my parents, my friends, the rest of my fantastic family, and of course my VBGFs for being a shoulder to cry on, pushing me to finally open my eyes when things were falling apart, and of course for supporting me when I finally came to the decision to sell everything, quit my job, and move west. Love you guys to to the moon and back.
BRING IT 2013!!!
